Tarramba has invested genetic power from top studs in Australia and the USA and has met the herd bull demands in northern Australia, selling 255 bulls in 2007, this included a run of robust Charbray bulls which are also sold annually. We annually join 1300 cows with 550 being purebred red Brahman and 750 brahman cows to charolais bulls.

STAAL RED BRAHMANS
NARRANDA BRAHMAN STUD better known as STAAL RED BRAHMANS was established in 1968 as Stud number 393. For the first 25 years Charlyn and Cherokee bulls were used exclusively in a bid to raise the purity of the herd. In 1982 approximately 100 cows were purchased from Mt Cornish Stud who had bought Waverley and Cherokee cattle many years earlier (1962) and then closed the herd. These females crossed extremely well with the Charlyn bulls. Several bulls were then introduced from Rockley to stabilize the colour, but only where they could be used without sacrificing purity.

Palmvale Red Brahmans is owned and operated by Kearin and Beth Streeter, and their 8 year old daughter Remy, and is situated at “Mt Slopeaway” ,Marlborough , in Central Queensland, just 109 klm north of Rockhampton, the Beef capital of Australia. The herd of 200 high quality stud cows are run on predominately coastal speargrass country, with the focus on QUALITY NOT QUANTITY, along with fertility, strong red colour and smooth coats, and plenty of natural meat and muscling

Fairy Springs Brahman Stud is a family operation owned and operated by Eddie and Debbie Streeter. Established in 1967, the stud herd is based on over 40 years of careful breeding and selection with a focus on fertility, temperament and traits important for productivity under northern Australia conditions. Emphasis has been placed on polled breeding over the past 15 years, resulting in a large percentage of the breeder herd now being polled or scurred.
