Fairview Polwarth stud is located at Yeo on loamy undulating country 14km south east of Colac with an average annual rainfall of 900mm. The property carries 500 Polwarth ewes, 300 of which are mated to Polwarth stud rams and 200 to White Suffolk rams. Ewes are joined in January and lamb in June/July with lambs weaned at 12 weeks. The flock is shorn in December with lambs fattened on a summer crop before being sold in March/April.
