Het LNS wil senioren en seniorencoaches bij elkaar brengen en daarbij optimale tevredenheid voor de senioren en de beste kwaliteit in seniorencoaching tot stand brengen. Vorming van een Landelijk Netwerk voor Seniorencoaches is het instrument om dit te bereiken. Het LNS wil: - Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van het vakgebied van de seniorencoach en het versterken van de kennis en kunde van de aangesloten seniorencoaches. - Senioren en mantelzorgers informeren over seniorencoaching: wat is het, wat mag ik verwachten en wat heb ik eraan. - Middels een online register van seniorencoaches de bereikbaarheid voor zoekende senioren en mantelzorgers verbeteren.
