Carolina Raptor Center
Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental stewardship and the conservation of birds of prey, through education, research and the rehabilitation of injured and orphan raptors. The organization's science education programs serve over 27,000 students a year in formal education settings. The 3/4 mile Raptor Trail and Edna S. Moretti Environmental Education Center welcomes over 35,000 visitors a year. The Jim Arthur Raptor Medical Center treats nearly 1,000 birds a year, releasing almost 70% back into the wild. Supporters can release a raptor, adopt a bird, make a charitable donation, purchase a membership or sponsor a capital improvement project.
