How to cook:
  1. Start by adding salt, pepper, ground cumin, and smoked paprika to your chicken thighs, rub it in with your hands.
  2. Either spray generously with olive oil or rub two tablespoons of olive oil into the chicken (I used the spray)
  3. Place the chicken thighs either in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray.
  4. Set the tray into the air fryer oven and set the temperature to 370 degrees for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, flip the chicken and cook for another 7 minutes.

  • 2 lb chicken thighs, bone-in with skin
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp chicken dry rub (homemade below or use store bought)
  • CHICKEN RUB
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp ground onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika

How to cook:
  1. Preheat the air fryer at 400F for 5 minutes.

How to cook:
  1. Use a paper towel to pat the chicken thighs dry. This is to remove excess moisture from them.
  2. Add the paprika, oregano, thyme, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a small bowl. Mix till well combined.
  3. Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub it in to make sure that all parts of the chicken are coated in the marinade. Cover the chicken and put it in the fridge to marinate for 1- 4 hours. You can marinate it overnight but it should not exceed 48 hours.

How to cook:
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380° F. Set cook time for 24 minutes with turn notification if your air fryer has that option.
  2. While your air fryer is preheating, prep your rub.
  3. Once the air fryer is preheated add the parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
