  • 4 boneless fish fillets (white fish such as tilapia or cod)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil spray
  • Lemon wedges and tartar sauce (for serving)

How to cook:
  1. Prep
  2. Pat fish dry. Whisk eggs in a shallow bowl and set aside. On a plate, mix together the spices and flour. Add the breadcrumbs to a separate plate.
  3. Coat
  4. Dredge the fish in the flour spice mixture, then dip into the whisked egg, shaking off any excess egg. Then dredge the fish in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Spray
  6. Place several pieces of breaded fish into the air fryer basket and spray the top of the breaded fish with oil spray (depending on your fryer size you may need to cook in batches).
  7. Air Fry
  8. Cook on the air fry setting for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees F, flipping halfway through, or until the fish is golden and flakes easily with a fork. Spray breaded fish with more oil spray as needed.
  9. Serve
  10. Remove the fish carefully and serve with a lemon wedge and tartar sauce for dipping, enjoy!

  • 1-2 pieces of tilapia (about 4-6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Hot sauce
  • diced chives
  • additional sour cream
How to cook:
  1. In a small mixing bowl, mix the Old Bay Seasoning, sour cream, and water.
  2. In another bowl, mix the panko and cornstarch.
  3. Dip your fish fillet into the sour cream mixture and then into the panko mixture. As you bread the fish, place them on an air fryer tray or in an air fryer basket (both sprayed with olive oil). GENEROUSLY spray the top of the coating with olive oil. This will help it crisp up. Set the temperature to 400 degrees F for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, flip (spray again) and add another 4 minutes.

  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon tequila {optional}
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 ounces of tilapia {about 2 large filets}
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs or regular breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
How to cook:
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Prepare the marinade: Add lime juice, tequila, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Cut fish into 1” bite size pieces and add to the marinade. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  3. Dredge the fish: Set up a dredging station with 3 bowls. Add flour to one bowl, eggs to the other, and panko bread crumbs, cumin and chili powder to the last bowl. Drain fish from marinade and pat dry.
  4. Pat the tilapia fillets dry then dip each fillet into the flour and coat both sides. Dip them into the egg wash and transfer them to the breadcrumb mixture to coat both sides of each fillet.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray. Take the air-fryer basket and place 1 to 2 tilapia fish fillet in the air fryer. You don't want to overlap the fish so you may need to do two batches.
  6. Spray the top and bottom of the tilapia with olive oil.
  7. Place the tilapia into the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove the fish once it gets a brown crust on the outside and the internal temperature is 145 F and is easily flaked by a fork at the thickest part.
  8. Serve the tilapia in tacos, on its own, on a bun or in a wrap.
