- Place steaks on a rack so there is airflow above and below them. Season steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bring steaks to room temperature, about 2 hours.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390-400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Dab any excess moisture off the surface of the steaks.
- Once the air fryer is preheated, place steaks in the air fryer and cook for 6 minutes. Flip steaks and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Total cook time will depend on the thickness of your steaks as well as your desired doneness.
- Once steaks have reached the desired doneness, remove from air fryer and let rest for 10 minutes, topped with the compound butter.
