- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 medium cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced (2 cups)
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 2 eggs

- Heat oven to 400. Grease a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Add apples and toss to coat.
- Heat water and butter to boiling and reduce heat to low. Add bisquick and stir until mixture forms a ball; remove from heat.
- Beat in eggs one at a time and beat until smooth.
- Spread batter into pie plate. Arrange apples on top within 1 inch of edge.
- Bake for 23 minutes or until puffed and edge is golden brown.
- Serve immediately.

Ingredients:
- 2 apples (peeled, cored and thinly sliced)
- 4 Tbsp butter (divided)
- 4 Tbsp sugar (divided)
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup flour
How to cook:
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Smear 2 tablespoons of butter in the bottom of a pie dish or oven proof skillet. Cover bottom with apples and then sprinkle with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Mix eggs, milk, flour and the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar. Pour over the baked apples.
- Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and pour butter over everything else in the pan.
- Bake 15 minutes or until browned and puffy. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.

- 70 grams granulated sugar ((1/3 cup, 2.4 oz))

How to cook:
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a large bowl (using hand or stand mixer, you can also use blender) beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, vanilla extract, milk salt and flour and mix until blended.
- Add butter in baking pan or cast iron skillet, put in the oven until butter is melted.
- Pour batter over butter and bake around 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite topping or confectioners sugar.
- Apples:
- In a medium skillet on medium-low heat melt butter. Add sliced apples and cook for 5 minutes. Add water, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
- Disolve corn starch in 3 tablespoons water and add to the apples. Bring to a boil and cook until sauce thickens. Serve ( don't overcook apples!).
