Ingredients:
- 1 lb minced beef
- 2 TBS olive oil
- 1 medium white onion (roughly chopped)
- 1 TBS ginger (thinly sliced)
- 1 TBS ginger (garlic and chili paste, substitute bird's eye chilies + minced garlic)
- 1 cup broccoli cut into florets + stem
- 1/2 cup sweet peppers or bell pepper (julienned)
- 4 spring onions (finely diced)
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1 TBS oyster sauce
- 2 TBS soy sauce
- 1 TBS dark soy sauce
- fresh basil to serve
How to cook:
- To make the stir-fry sauce, mix together the brown sugar, oyster sauce and both soy sauces. Set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling cook the noodles according to package directions.
- Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the ginger cooking for a few seconds. Add the minced beef and stir-fry breaking apart as it cooks for 4 minutes. When half the meat is browned but still pink, add the onions and continue to stir and cook until softened. Mix in the vegetables and continue to stir-fry on high until they begin to brown and crisp a little.
- Once the noodles are cooked, pull them out of the water and toss them directly into the stir-fry. If your noodles are done well before you are ready to add them in with the meat and vegetables, you can drain them and set them aside.
- Once the noodles are in the stir-fry, pour the sauce overtop and toss to combine. Remove from the heat and top each bowl with fresh basil and spring onions. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (about 3 cups) beef (thinly sliced)
- 3 cups broccoli (chopped)
- 1 bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 2 tbsp oil ((use one with a high smoke point, like avocado oil))
- Sesame seeds to garnish
- 1 heaping tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
How to cook:
- Thinly slice your beef and add to a bowl along with ingredients for the marinade. Mix and set aside for just a few minutes (do not marinate too long or else the baking soda will cause an unpleasant flavor)
- Start making your sauce with the cornstarch and water first. Whisk until a cornstarch slurry is formed and there are no bumps. Then add in the remaining ingredients for the sauce. Whisk and set aside.
- Chop your veggies, then heat your pan under medium heat until very hot.
- Add oil to pan and cook your beef. Once beef is just cooked, add in your veggies and sauce until everything is coated with the sauce.
- Add in about 1/4 cup of water to the pan and top with lid ajar for about 2 minutes so the broccoli can cook. Give everything a final mix, then take off the heat.
- Serve with rice and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
