- Boil the water add salt and oil and start cooking the jjajamyeon noodles. Then cut all the vegetables into small cube pieces and then, fr the pork until it turns golden brown and crispy.
- Using the same oil, stir fry the black bean paste or chungjang for about 5 minutes. Then, add all the vegetables along the fried pork and stir it until well combined.
- Add water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Then, when all the vegetables are cooked, dilute 2 table spoon of corn starch and slowly add it o the mixture until it thickens. Add sesame oil, stir well and remove from the heat.
- Remove the pasta from the heat and transfer it in a big bowl and add ice to keep the chewiness of the pasta. Then, stain the excess water and add it to a serving bowl, then add sauce on top and add some julienne cut cucumber and sesame seeds for decoration. Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Pork Chops (chopped)
- 1 cup Zucchini (diced)
- 1 cup Green Onions (chopped)
- 1 cup Cabbage (chopped)
- 1 cup Potato (diced)
- 1 cup Onion (diced)
- Udon Noodles
- 2 tbsps Olive Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp Korean Black Bean Paste
- 1/2 tbsp Potato Starch (for thickening)
- 1/2 cup Water
How to cook:
- Prep the pork chops, zucchini, green onions, cabbage, potato, and onions before cooking.
- In a large frying pan, turn the heat to medium high and add in 2 tbsps of olive oil. Next add in the chopped green onions and stir fry.
- Next add in the pork chops and stir fry. Once the pork chops are cooked, add in 1 tbsp of chunjang paste, chopped cabbages, diced potatoes, chopped onions, and diced zucchini and stir. Add 1/2 cup of water and close the lid for 5 minutes.
- Mix 1/2 tbsp of wheat flour with 1 tbsp of water and add to the jajang sauce. Cook for another 3 minutes and take the pan off the pot.
- Boil water in a pot. Next, add in the udon noodles and cook until they’re chewy.
- Add the cooked udon noodles in a bowl and then add the jajang sauce on top. Add slices of cucumbers or zucchini and sprinkle red pepper powder. Enjoy the jajangmyeon with kimchi or pickled daikon. Happy eating everyone!
