- 1 8.5 oz can of small peas
- 1 large 28 oz can of peeled whole tomatoes
- 1 box of bow tie pasta
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil

- Begin by dicing the onion and add to a sprayed pan and saute
- When the onion is cooked add the entire can of tomatoes (liquid too)
- Drain half of the liquid from the peas and add into the pan
- Add in the parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, bay leaves, and parsley
- Let simmer, cover, and on low for 30 minutes
- While this is cooking, cook the bow ties in a separate bowl!
- Combine and serve, this recipe makes 6!

Ingredients:
- 6 cups Farfalle
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 4 rashers Bacon (or prosciutto)
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 Tbsp chopped thyme
- 2 sprigs Basil (leaves only)
- 0.5 cup Parmesan (shaved)
How to cook:
- Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil and cook the farfalle for 10 - 12 minutes or until cooked al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crisp. Drain on kitchen paper and set aside.
- Cook the peas in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes and drain well.
- Drain the pasta and stir in the bacon, peas, thyme, basil and remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and served topped with the parmesan shavings.

- 1 lb bow tie pasta (farfalle)
- coarse salt
- fresh coarse ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 cup sliced white mushroom
- 2 cups frozen peas (10 oz)
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 3/4 lb cooked shrimp
- crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
- grated parmesan cheese, for garnish & serving

- Add shrimp to sauce; cook until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Toss sauce with pasta & a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with grated Parmesan.
