Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Kosher salt, for salting the glasses rims (optional)
- 4 cups of ice, divided
- 4 ounces mezcal
- 2 ounces Grand Mariner
- Juice of 2-3 limes
- 4 ounces club soda
How to cook:
- Salt the rim of two rocks glasses (instructions in notes). Fill each with ice. Set aside.
- Add about 2 cups of ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Pour mezcal, Grand Mariner, lime juice, and club soda into the shaker.
- Close and shake, or use a cocktail spoon to mix everything up very well.
- Strain the margaritas into the two prepared glasses.
- Garnish with lime slices if desired.

- Rim The Glass - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a 8-10 ounce glass. Dip the rim in the kosher salt on a flat plate. Fill the glass with ice. Set aside. Pro Tip: If you are having more than one margarita (duh!), instead of rimming the glass on the second or third drink simply sprinkle a pinch or two of salt straight into the drink!
- Make the Margarita - Place a few cubes of ice in a cocktail shaker. Add the fresh squeezed lime juice, Cointreau, agave, and tequila. Shake for about 20-30 seconds.
- Serve - Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
- Optional, but recommended- if you like a few bubbles in your Margarita you can top it off with 1-2 ounces of soda water.

- 1 ½ cup strawberries (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon sea salt (flaked)
- 1 tablespoon honey crystals
- 1 lime (zested)
- 2 strawberries
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce strawberry syrup
- ½ ounce Grand Marnier

- Strawberry Simple Syrup
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine water, honey, and sliced strawberries.
- Bring syrup mixture to a simmer and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Strain strawberry syrup through a fine-mesh strainer. Don't press strawberries, it will make the syrup cloudy. Place it inside the refrigerator until you need it.
- Sugar and Salt Mixture
- Mix honey crystals, salt, and lime zest and place them on a small plate.
- Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your margarita glass.
- Roll the rim of the margarita glass in the sugar and salt mixture. Set aside.
- Strawberry Margarita
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle 2 strawberries to release their juices.
- Pour in tequila, lime juice, strawberry syrup, Grand Marnier, and ice cubes. Shake until the cocktail shaker is very cold.
- Pour into prepared glasses with ice cubes and garnish with limes, strawberries, and mint.
