Ingredients:
- 1/2 c Crisco shortening
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c chipits semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c chopped nuts
How to cook:
- Cream together shortening, firmly packed brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Drop from small spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 375ºF oven 10 to 12 min.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups lightly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (350 g) package hershey chipits (semi-sweet)

- ½ cup butter, room temp
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour

- 1 package (350g) chocolate chips
How to cook:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cream together shortening, butter, brown sugar and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

- Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in white creme chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

- Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking; flatten upon cooling.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
