- 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Dill Pickle Juice
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tbsp Confectioner’s Sugar
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- Peanut Oil or Canola Oil for Frying
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- 16 Dill Pickles
- 4 Slices Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 Tomato (sliced)
- 4 Pieces of Leaf Lettuce

- Filet the chicken breasts into 4 pieces of chicken and trim off any excess fat.
- Combine the chicken and pickle juice in a medium size bowl. Cover and refrigerate to marinate the chicken in the pickle juice for 30-60 minutes (or overnight).
- Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and drain off the pickle juice.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Then pour this mixture over the chicken pieces.
- Then in a large ziplock bag, add the flour, sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Seal the bag and shake to combine all the ingredients.
- Drain the excess milk mixture off the chicken and place the chicken in the ziplock bag with the flour mixture. Seal the bag and then shake to thoroughly coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
- Then heat the peanut oil or canola oil in a large pan over medium heat or in a fryer.
- Working in batches, add the chicken to the hot oil and cook until the chicken is golden brown and crispy (approximately 3-5 minutes). Once cooked, move the chicken to a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up the excess oil. Place the cheese on chicken while warm to melt the cheese.
- Then serve on the hamburger buns with the dill pickles, tomatoes and lettuce.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- Start by taking your chicken breasts, and slice in half to make a thinner piece of chicken.
- Then you will want to use meat hammer and pound out the chicken to make it thinner. Too thick of chicken will not cook up properly. Now if your chicken is thin already skip cutting in half and pounding it out.
- Soak your chicken in pickle juice in an airtight container for 1 hour up to 6 hours.
- Drain off juice once it has marinaded and then pat dry with a paper towel.
- Heat your peanut oil up in a large pot or skillet on the stove. You want it to read 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- While oil is heating up you will mix up your flour, powdered sugar, salt, and spices and pepper in a dish. Stir to mix.
- Then create an egg wash in another bowl by whisking the egg with the milk.
- Start by dredging the chicken pieces in the milk then the flour mixture. Coat both sides in the flour, shaking off excess.
- I repeat the coating twice, and then fry for 4-5 minutes per side. Make sure the internal temperature of the chicken reads 165 degrees.
- Then in a skillet on the stove heat a pan on medium heat. Butter the inside of the buns, and toast for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
- Then assemble your spicy deluxe sandwiches, and serve and enjoy.
- Air Fryer Direction
- Follow the same direction as marinating chicken, and breading the chicken.
- Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees.
- Dredge in the milk mixture then flour mixture. Repeat for a thicker breading. Make sure to shake off excess flour.
- Place chicken in the preheated air fryer. Spray liberally with an oil mister. This will make chicken golden brown. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Flip chicken and spray the other side with oil liberally, and cook an additional 5-6 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Then toast your buns, and assemble your Chick Fil A Spicy Deluxe Sandwiches!

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, add vinegar, orange juice, avocado oil, garlic, cayenne, and paprika. Whisk until well incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the chicken in an airtight container or freezer bag and pour the marinade in.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes or ideally overnight before baking.
- Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Add chopped bell pepper to the baking sheet and continue to bake for another 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Let the chicken cool down and rest then cut chicken into slices.

- In a medium bowl, or heavy-duty ziploc baggie, mix buttermilk, pickle juice, and hot sauce together. Add chicken breasts, cover, or seal, and marinate overnight.
- After the chicken has marinated, cut into nugget size pieces.
- In a large cast iron skillet, or frying pan, heat oil over medium high heat.
- Using 3 separate bowls, or shallow containers, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and hot sauce together in the first bowl.
- Whisk together flour and cornstarch in the second bowl.
- In the third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and seasoning.
- Add 6-8 pieces at a time into the buttermilk mixture and then into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Cook chicken until golden on each side.
- Remove from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels while the remaining chicken is cooked.
- Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
