  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste )
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (or to taste )
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • oil, for frying

How to cook:
  1. Add the milk, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp granulated garlic, and shrimp to a large bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Season the all purpose flour with the remaining salt, paprika, oregano, granulated garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the milk mixture and coat well with the seasoned flour. Make sure to coat the shrimp really well with lots of seasoned flour. You should not be able to see the shrimp under the flour.
  4. Fry the shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until crispy in oil. The oil should be about 375 degrees F.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the oil and place it on a plate with paper towel.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

  • 24 ounces large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk)
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

How to cook:
  1. Heat 1/2-inch of oil in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Line a large plate with a paper towel, set aside.
  2. In a cake pan or pie plate whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
  3. In another cake pan, mix together the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Add shrimp to the egg mixture and coat well. A few at a time, add the shrimp to the flour and coat completely. Place on a clean plate while you bread the remaining shrimp.
  5. Add shrimp to skillet making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3 minutes, until crispy and golden brown. Drain on prepared plate. Continue until all shrimp is fried.
  6. Dipping Sauce

How to cook:
  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, 1 tablespoon salt, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper.
  2. Place the buttermilk in a separate shallow bowl.
  3. Pour the oil into a medium Dutch oven or cast iron skillet and warm over medium-high heat until it reaches 375 degrees F.
  4. Meanwhile, pat the shrimp dry and dredge them in the flour mixture first, then coat with buttermilk, and dredge in the flour mixture again. Shake the shrimp after each coating to get off any excess flour or batter.
  5. Working in batches, fry shrimp until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes). Use a slotted spoon to transfer the shrimp to a paper towel-lined tray. Season with additional salt, to taste. You may need to increase the heat to keep the oil at a steady temperature between 350 degrees F and 375 degrees F as the shrimp fry.
  6. Keep the fried shrimp warm in a 200 degree F oven while you fry the remaining batches.

  • 12 Jumbo Shrimp
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp tony’s seasoning
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups louisiana flour mix
  • 1 tbsp tony’s Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup djon mustard
  • 1 tsp worcestershire
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
How to cook:
  1. Pre heat oil in a large pot to 350F degrees.
  2. Rinse, peel, devein shrimp, leave tail intact if desired. Pat dry .
  3. Place shrimp in a large bowl, coat with mustard and spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, tony’s seasoning. Pour in buttermilk and set inside refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. TO PREPARE CORN FLOUR:
  5. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or freezer bag, coat evenly.
  6. Dip shrimp in the corn flour, coat well, and place into hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. I would do this in 2 batches.
  7. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drain on paper napkin.
  9. Squeeze a little lemon juice on hot shrimp if desired.
  10. Serve with Remoulade sauce dipping sauce.
  11. TO PREPARE THE Remoulade DIPPING SAUCE:
  12. Mix all ingredients together. Chill until ready to use.
