How to cook:
  1. Dice all of the veggies (avocado, zucchini, and dates) and reserve for assembly. Lay out the 5 cups and have 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon set aside for measuring.
  2. In each cup separate the zucchini evenly among the cups, the avocado evenly, and the dates evenly among all the cups.
  3. In each cup place 1 T cacao nibs, 1 3/4 t. coconut manna, 1 package of stevia, 1 pinch of salt, 2-3 shakes of cacao powder (or you can use cocoa powder), and a heaping teaspoon of vanilla protein powder into each cup.
  4. Place the lids on the cups and put them in the freezer.
  5. To prepare a smoothie take the cup out of the freezer. Fill with the milk of your choice (milk is not included in my nutritional macro-nutrients and should be logged separately.) Pour the entire contents of the cup into a blender and blend for 1 min. (You can blend longer if you think it needs it.) Pour the smoothie back into a cup and enjoy!

  • 1/3 cup frozen kale and spinach blend ((Note 3))
  • 2 medjool dates,
  • 1 tablespoon roasted and salted almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • tiny pinch fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk of choice ((we use unsweetened vanilla almond milk))

How to cook:
  1. NIGHT BEFORE: Peel the banana and slice into coins. Place the coins in a sealed bag in the freezer the night before making this smoothie. Measure out spinach and kale blend and freeze that as well. If you'd like, soak your dates the night before as well (see next step).
  2. SOAK DATES: (Note 4) Set dates in a small heat-safe (glass) bowl. Pour 1 cup of very hot (or boiling) water over the dates. Let stand for about 4-5 minutes. This ensures the dates blend up nicely. Once they've soaked, thoroughly drain and make sure the pits have been removed.
  3. FIRST BLEND: Combine dates and milk. Blend until very smooth, about 90-120 seconds.
  4. SECOND BLEND: Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth, about 60 seconds. Stir to ensure smoothie is smooth and enjoy immediately!
