  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 (1 1/2-ounce) envelope Italian dressing
  • 1 (4-ounce) can small shrimp, drained and coarsely chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • A few dashes of hot sauce, to taste, optional

How to cook:
  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. Combine the cream cheese and sour cream in a medium bowl. Beat the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the lemon juice and Italian dressing mix.
  4. Then stir in the shrimp. Taste and add salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
  5. If desired, stir in 1 or 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
  7. Serve with chips, vegetables, or assorted crackers.

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese (Two 8 oz Blocks, Softened)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 12 oz Chili Sauce (I prefer the Homade brand)
  • 1.5 pounds Shrimp (Tail Off (approx 50-60 shrimp))
  • 1/2 Box Town House Crackers

How to cook:
  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise garlic powder, and Worcestershire Sauce in a medium or large bowl. I like to use hand beaters, but you can also mix it by hand.
  2. Once the mixture is completely smooth, spread it onto a platter. You can use any shape platter that you have.
  3. Next, take the Chili Sauce and spread it over the cream cheese layer. Note: I prefer Chili Sauce over Cocktail sauce. But you could use cocktail sauce if that's all you have.
  4. Lastly, disperse the Tail Off Shrimp over the top! I like to really pile the shrimp on, so feel free to adjust the amount of shrimp to your liking!
  5. Serve with Town House Crackers, Ritz Crackers or Wheat Thins!

How to cook:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Then set a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the butter, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, and garlic in the skillet. Sauté for 3-5 minutes to soften.
  3. If using “popcorn” shrimp there is no need to chop it. However, if you are using larger shrimp, roughly chop into small ½ inch pieces. (Small enough to scoop up on crackers.)
  4. Once the vegetables are softened, add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, ¼ cup parmesan cheese, scallions, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Stir until the cream cheese, and shredded cheese melts into a thick sauce. Turn off the heat.
  6. Sprinkle the top with the remaining ¼ cup parmesan cheese. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are bubbly. Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, potato chips, or cut vegetables.
