- Grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Melt the butter in a large sauce pot or Dutch oven on the stovetop.
- Stir the vanilla extract and salt into the butter.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter mixture, stirring until the marshmallows have fully melted.
- Then add green food coloring until you have the shade of green you want.
- Remove the mixture from the heat, and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal.
- Spread the Rice Krispies mixture into the greased baking dish and let them cool.
- Cut the entire pan of treats into squares or at least, as close to square shaped treats as you can.

- Also, add a small smile or mouth, as well as a piece of stitching to one cheek.
- Add candy eyes, setting them in place with a tiny bit of icing on the back.
- And that's it! They're ready to serve at your Halloween party!

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
- Put the black candy melts into a microwave-safe dish such as a long mug or a large measuring cup. Heat according to the package directions or in 30-second intervals, stirring now and then until melted. Stir until smooth.
- Dip the tip of each pop stick into the melted candy and insert it into the center of the base of each Rice Krispie Treat until secured. Freeze them for at least 5 minutes.

Ingredients:
- Cooking spray
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups rice cereal
- 1 stick softened butter
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- 16 candy eyes
- 5-6 oz. white fondant
How to cook:
- Spray a 9x13 rectangular pan with cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low-medium heat.
- Stir in the miniature marshmallows and keep stirring constantly until they are completely melted.
- Remove marshmallow mixture from heat and add the rice cereal. Fold until well incorporated.
- Press rice cereal treat mixture into coated pan and allow to set for at least 30 minutes. To keep the rice krispies from sticking to your hands, either wet your fingers or rub butter on your hands, then press them down into the pan.
- Once the rice cereal treats are set, cut them into 8 rectangles.
- To make the buttercream icing, use an electric mixer to beat together softened butter, confectioners’ sugar and milk.
- Start beating on low speed and gradually increase to high.
- Once the ingredients are smooth and form semi-stiff peaks, the icing is ready.
- Frost each rice crispy cereal treat using an offset spatula.
- Add two edible candy eyes, pressing lightly into the icing.
- Roll out fondant until it’s about ¼ of an inch thick.
- Use a paring knife to cut the white fondant into thin strips.
- Place strips all over the frosted rice cereal treats, in no particular order. Just be sure not to cover the candy eyes.
- Trim any excess fondant and enjoy!

- Grease an 8 x 11-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- Melt butter and marshmallows in a large heavy bottomed pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until well combined.
- Remove pot from heat and stir in crispy rice cereal to combine. Working quickly, stir in most of the candy corn, reserving about 1/4 cup for the top of the treats. Using the back of a buttered wooden spoon or your buttered hands, press mixture evenly into baking pan. While treats are still warm, press additional candy corn pieces into the top of the treats.
- Using a microwave or double burner, melt chocolate chips. Transfer melted chocolate to a pastry bag fitted with a small round tip, or to a small zip top plastic bag with one corner snipped off. Drizzle chocolate across the bars.
- Allow chocolate to set before slicing treats into squares. Alternatively, use cookie cutters to make fun shapes from the Krispie treats.
