  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 quarts hot water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 cups rum

Ingredients:
  • 1 gal apple cider
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • rum
  • 16 cinnamon sticks
How to cook:
  1. Pour the apple cider into the slow cooker and turn the heat setting to high.
  2. Next, add the butter, brown sugar, and spices.
  3. Let the spiced cider heat up for about an hour and a half.
  4. Add a shot of rum to each glass or mug.
  5. Stir well before using a ladle to pour the hot buttered cider over the rum.
