Ingredients:
  • 2 packs Frozen Cassava (2 pounds ) (, about 4 cups)
  • 1 can ( 14 oz) condensed milk, divided
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk, divided
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk, divided
  • 2 large eggs (, light beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons (8.4g) vanilla extract
  • ½ -1 teaspoon (1g-2g) nutmeg (optional)
  • 3 large eggs yolk
  • ⅓ can condensed milk (, from reserve )
  • ⅓ can coconut milk ( , from reserve )
  • ⅓ cup evaporated milk

How to cook:
  1. Leave cassava to thaw overnight - or submerge cassava packs in a large bowl of water, until cassava has thawed.
  2. Squeeze out some water from the cassava. Place on a sieve and let water from the cassava drip to a bowl. Do not squeeze dry. Cassava should have some moisture in it.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together cassava, condensed milk (⅔ can, reserve ⅓ can for topping) coconut milk, (⅔ can, reserve ⅓ can for topping), evaporated milk (⅔ can, reserve ⅓ can for topping) eggs, butter, vanilla extract and nutmeg.
  5. Thoroughly mix until fully combined.
  6. Pour the cassava mixture into the prepared baking pan. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until a long toothpick or skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  7. Custard Topping
  8. In a medium bowl whisk together egg yolks, remaining condensed, coconut and evaporated milk
  9. Carefully pour egg custard over baked cassava cake, return back to the oven and continue baking for another 15 or more minutes or until the topping is set. Check with toothpick.

  • 2 lbs Grated Cassava
  • 1 can Condensed Milk 14oz
  • 1 can Coconut Milk 13.5oz
  • ¼ cup Evaporated Milk
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ bottle *Optional* Sweet Macapuno (~9oz)
  • ½ cup Grated Eden Cheese or Velveeta
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ cup Evaporated Milk
  • ½ cup Condensed Milk
  • ¼ bottle *Optional* Rest of Sweet Macapuno (~3oz)
  • Eden Cheese or Velveeta
How to cook:
  1. Preheat Oven to 350°F
  2. In a Medium Bowl crack 3 Large Eggs
  3. Add 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
  4. Beat the Eggs and Extract using a Whisk
  5. Add 1 Big Can of Coconut Milk (13.5oz or 1 ½ cups)
  6. Add 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk (14oz)
  7. Add ¼ Cup Melted Butter
  8. Stir the Mixture
  9. *Optional* Add ¾ Bottle of Sweet Macapuno (~9oz)
  10. Add ½ Cup of Grated Eden Cheese (or Velveeta)
  11. Stir the Mixture
  12. Add 2 lbs of Grated Cassava or Kamoteng Kahoy
  13. Mix Ingredients Fully
  14. Set Aside Mixture
  15. Grease Pan with Oil Spray or Butter (9 x 13 inch Pan)
  16. Pour Mixture (Batter) in Pan Evenly
  17. Bake in Oven 40 minutes at 350°F until Top is Not Runny
  18. While Waiting we will Prepare Toppings
  19. In a New Medium Bowl beat 2 Eggs
  20. Add ½ cup of Evaporated Milk
  21. Add ½ cup of Condensed Milk (~4oz)
  22. Add rest of Sweet Macapuno (~3oz)
  23. Stir Mixture
  24. After Timer pull out Cassava - When Top is No Longer Runny
  25. Pour Topping Mixture Evenly across Top of Cassava
  26. Bake for Additional 30 minutes
  27. After 30 minutes Pull Out Cassava to Add Cheese

  • 500ml coconut milk
  • 130ml evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 115g butter melted
  • 30g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 150ml condensed milk
  • 175g granulated white sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 31g sugar
  • 150ml condensed milk
  • 30g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 240ml coconut cream
How to cook:
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Stir together all the topping ingredients and set them aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, coconut milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, half of the melted butter, grated cheese, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.
  4. Brush the 10x10 cake pan with the remaining melted butter and pour the batter into the pan. 5. Bake the cassava cake at 200 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.
  5. Remove the baked cassava and pour the toppings on top.
  6. Bake for another 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve.
