  • 1 can of condensed milk*
  • 1 can of evaporated milk**
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 8oz pkg. of cream cheese (optional, see note)***
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 cup of sugar

How to cook:
  1. In a medium-size saucepan place the sugar and water, bring to a boil in at high heat until sugar dissolves, when sugar dissolves reduce heat and keep boiling until the syrup gets a light brown-caramel color. This will take about 10 minutes. Pour the caramel in your oven proof pan, swirling the caramel to cover the bottom of the pan evenly. Let cool.
  2. Place the rest of the ingredients in a blender and process until you have a smooth mixture.
  3. Pour mixture slowly into prepared pan and cover with aluminum foil. For the hot bath. Place the pan inside a large baking pan. Add warm water to the pan until it reaches about 3/4 inch.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes or until flan looks firm as in the picture below. Flan will keep cooking while it cools, so do not let longer in the oven. Let it cool.4. Once the flan has cooled run, a knife between the flan and baking pan.
  5. Place a large serving plate on top of the pan and invert with a quick move to avoid any liquid caramel to spill from the pan. Slice, serve and enjoy.

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 8 oz Cream Cheese (cubed)
  • 1 14 oz sweetened condensed milk can
  • 1 12 oz evaporated milk can
  • 1 vanilla bean (seeds scraped or use 2 tsp vanilla extract )
  • 5 large eggs

How to cook:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Make the caramel
  3. Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium high heat until it becomes liquid.
  4. Continue cooking and stirring with a wooden spoon until is lightly browned. About 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the melted sugar into each ramekin to coat the bottom.
  6. While the caramel is still hot and liquid, very carefully ( using oven mitts) swirl the pan around while sugar is still soft to cover bottom and sides. It will get thicker as it cools and eventually harden.
  7. Set aside to cool.
  8. Make the flan mixture
  9. Add the remaining of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until well blended.
  10. Fill the cake mold or ramekins with the flan mixture.
  11. Place the mold or ramekins in a baking pan and fill the pan with enough water to rise about halfway up their sides.
  12. Bake for about 1 hr & 15 minutes if baking in a cake mold (about 40 minutes in ramekins) or until the custard is set (it should not feel liquid or loose when tapping ).
  13. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 3 days. (see note 2)
  14. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the pan and flip the flan out onto a serving platter. Serve with fruit and/or fresh whipped cream.

  • 1 can of La Lechera Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup of Regular Milk
  • 1/2 cup of Sugar
  • 1 Tspn of 100% Pure Vanilla Extract
How to cook:
  1. In a non-stick flan mold you add the sugar (evenly spread) and you leave it to cook on the stove until it reaches a dark color. Heat oven to 350 F. When you see this reaction, remove the mold from the stove and make sure that it is evenly spread so that you can leave it to cool off.
  2. Mean while, mix in a blender the 3 eggs, the La Lechera Condensated Milk, the regular milk and the tea spoon of vanilla (extract). After it is well mixed, place it in the flan mold where the cold caramel had rested. To cook, fill baking pan with 1/2 inch of warm water, and cover with a tent of aluminum foil. Bake until custards are just set, 30 to 40 minutes. Remove pan from oven, and remove custards from pan.
  3. Serve when cooled, or cover flans with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to unmold. To unmold, run a knife carefully around the edge of each custard. Invert onto a plate, and drizzle 1 teaspoon of coffee liqueur, if using, over each flan.

How to cook:
  1. To make the flan mixture, combine all the ingredients in a blender leaving out ½ cup of cajeta. Mix until completely combined.
  2. Grab a bundt pan, spray it with non-stick spray and drizzle the ½ cup of remaining cajeta on the bottom of the mold. Spread it out to line the bottom of pan.
  3. Pour the flan mixture on top of the layer of cajeta inside the pan.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil until fully sealed.
  5. Place the pan in a large pan or pot, making sure the bundt pan fits sitting down inside the pan. Pour about 1 inch of very hot water in.
  6. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour making sure there is still water in the bottom of the pan. If you see that it is evaporating completely add a bit more.
  7. Let cool completely for at least two hours.
  8. Turn over on a platter and serve.
