Ingredients:
- 1 cup Whole Milk Plain Yogurt
- 1 bunch of Cilantro with stems
- 2 Tablespoons Mint leaves
- 1-2 Garlic cloves
- 1 Green Chili or deseeded Serrano or Jalapeno
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted cumin seeds or powder
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon Water or Yogurt
- Pink Salt to taste

- Thoroughly wash and clean the Cilantro and Mint. Use Cilantro stems and remove any stems from Mint leaves.
- In a good blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth consistency. It makes about 1/4 cup Cilantro Chutney.
- Whisk Whole Milk Yogurt in a medium bowl until smooth. Add 1/4 cup Chutney to whipped Yogurt. Mix well until well combined.
- Serve it immediately with Kebabs, Biryani, Pakoras, Paratha. Enjoy!

- 1 cup plain yogurt (whole milk or reduced fat)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons dried mint powder

- Preparation
- Chill the yogurt. Rinse & chop the onions & green chilies. Rinse & peel the cucumbers. If needed deseed them & chop to bite sizes.
- Rinse coriander leaves in ample amount of water. Drain completely and chop them fine.
- Optional - Roast 1 tsp cumin seeds on a low flame until it smells good. Cool this and crush them to fine powder in a spice jar.
- How to make raita
- Add curd and salt to a mixing bowl. Whisk them until smooth with a fork or a whisk.
- Next add chopped cucumbers, onions, cumin powder, coriander leaves and green chilies.
- Stir gently. If required add more yogurt. Taste test and add more salt if required.
- Garnish with cumin powder on top. Serve raita with biryani, pulao, kebabs or paratha.
