  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root (peeled and grated)
  • 1 pound green cabbage (or coleslaw mix)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tbsps Keto Soy Sauce (see notes)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsps green onion (minced for garnish)

How to cook:
  1. Saute
  2. Warm oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  3. Stir fry
  4. Add cabbage and salt; stir fry until soft for about 5-8 minutes.
  5. Brown
  6. Push cabbage to one side of the skillet. Increase the heat to medium-high and lightly brown the meat for 2 minutes. Mix all together and continue cooking until meat is done to your liking.
  7. Whisk

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion ((chopped))
  • 1 bell pepper ((chopped))
  • 1 small head of cabbage ((cored & chopped))
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Tony Chachere's creole seasoning ((*see notes))
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
How to cook:
  1. Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove excess fat if there is more than a few tablespoons (a little extra fat is ok).
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cabbage, diced tomatoes and all seasoning to the pan with the ground beef. Cover with a lid and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do a taste test and season with additional salt or seasoning, if needed.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese over top and cover again until the cheese is melted.

How to cook:
  1. Chop the onions, peppers and put them together in a medium bowl.
  2. Chop the head of cabbage into narrow strips about two or three inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Set aside.

  10. Pack the chopped cabbage slices over the hamburger mixture and cover with a lid.

  12. Remove cover and add shredded cheeses
  13. Cover and let the cheese melt 5 minutes.
  14. Refresh spices as desired.
  15. Serve from the skillet.
