  • 1 pound ground chuck, cooked and drained well
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 low carb tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to cook:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spritz a 9x13 inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine cooked beef with tomatoes, water, and dry seasonings. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Spoon about ½ cup sauce into the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Roll each hot dog in a low carb tortilla. Place on the sauce with the seam-side down.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over the hotdogs. Top casserole with cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Serve with hotdog toppings like pickles, mustard, onion, sauerkraut, etc.

These Keto Chili Cheese Dogs have everything you love about this classic, without the carbs! Easy, low carb, and gluten-free!

  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 package (6 count) hot dogs or smoked sausage links
  • 1 egg white beaten for egg wash to brush on top
  • 1 1/2 cups Keto Chili (1/4 cup per chili cheese dog)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar (heaping tablespoon per chili dog)

How to cook:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Heat in 30-second increments until cheese is completely melted.
  3. Stir the cheeses so they are combined.
  4. In a second smaller bowl, combine the almond flour and baking powder. Mix into the melted cheeses.
  5. When the almond flour and cheese are nearly combined, add in a beaten egg white and stir well.
  6. Using your hands, work the dough to make sure the egg white is completely worked into it (no streaks of egg whites visible). If the dough seems too wet just add 1 tablespoon of almond flour at a time until it feels right.
  7. Lay the dough on a silicone baking sheet. Place a second silicone baking sheet on top and spread the dough into a thin rectangle.
  8. Slice the dough into 6 strips.
  9. Wrap the dough around the hot dogs, overlapping slightly.
  10. Lastly, brush with an egg white and bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

How to cook:
  1. Grate the mozzarella cheese.
  2. In a mixing bowl add the cream cheese, almond flour, and mozzarella cheese. Microwave on high for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add in the large egg then mix everything together. I like to use a silicone spatula because it doesn't stick to the dough.
  4. Place the dough on a piece of parchment or wax paper. If the dough is acting a bit "wet" then I prefer to use wax paper.
  5. Place a second piece of paper on the top then roll it out into a rough rectangle shape. (Or a perfect rectangle shape if you're especially talented.)
  6. Cut the dough into 8 strips using a knife or a pizza wheel.
  7. Carefully wrap the strips around the hot dogs. Sometimes the strips break on me. Don't worry, just press the dough back together. Some of the dogs might look a little lumpy if this happens but that's OK.
  8. Bake at 400°F for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. You can pop this under the broiler for the last few minutes to get a nice color on top.
