Ingredients:
- 3 / 4 cup McKenzie's 12 Blend Soup Mix
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 80g smoked bacon, cut into batons (optional)
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 celery stick, sliced
- 1 potato, diced
- 2 litres vegetable stock
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 / 2 bunch kale, well rinsed and shredded
- to taste McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt Grinder
- to taste McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
- Grated parmesan, for serving
How to cook:
- Step 1
- Prepare the 12 Blend Soup Mix according to on pack preparation instructions.
- Step 2
- Heat the oil in a large pot and add onion and garlic, cooking until just tender. If using, add bacon and cook forrn2-3 minutes.
- Step 3
- Add carrot, celery and potato to pot and cook for 2 minutes. Add soup mix, stock and zucchini.rnBring to the boil and reduce to a simmer for approx. 25 minutes or until mix is just tender.
- Step 4
- Add kale and stir through until just wilting. Season well and serve with parmesan.

Ingredients:
- 2 chicken maryland
- 1 / 2 onion, quartered
- 1 tsp McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 leek, sliced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 celery stick, sliced
- 3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 3 / 4 cup McKenzie's Soup Mix, rinsed
- 2 potatoes, diced
- To taste, McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt Grinder
- To taste, McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
- Optional for serving, flat leaf parsley
How to cook:
- Step 1
- Place chicken, onion, peppercorns and thyme in a large pot and cover with 3 litres water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Step 2
- Strain chicken and seasonings through a colander, reserving the liquid. Remove meat from chicken bones. Shred and set aside.
- Step 3
- Heat the oil in a large pot and add leek, carrots, celery and garlic. Cook until just tender. Add the Soup Mix and potatoes with 2 litres of the reserved cooking liquid. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes until soup mix is tender. Return chicken meat to pot and cook for a further 5 minutes until heated through. Season to taste and finish with parsley.

- 1 cup Mckenzie's Ancient Grain Soup Mix
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery sticks, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium zucchini, diced
- 2L vegetable stock
- Large handful baby spinach leaves
- to taste, McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt Grinder
- to taste, McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
- to garnish (optional) Sour cream, pesto & chilli flakes
How to cook:
- Step 1
- Before cooking, follow on-pack instructions to rinse and pick over uncooked soup mix.
- Step 2
- Heat the oil in a large pot and add onion and garlic, cooking until just tender.
- Step 3
- Add carrot and celery to the pot and cook for 2 minutes. Add uncooked soup mix, tomatoes, stock and zucchini.
- Step 4
- Bring to the boil and reduce to a simmer for approx. 25 minutes or until mix is just tender
- Step 5
- Add baby spinach and stir through until just wilting. Season well with salt and pepper and serve. Add a dollop of sour cream, pesto and a sprinkling of chilli flakes if desired.

- 3 / 4 cup McKenzie's Italian Style Soup Mix, rinsed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 celery stick, chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 piece bacon bone or smoked ribs
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 litre chicken stock
- 1 cup water
- 1 parmesan rind (optional)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1-2 sprigs thyme sprigs thyme
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 200g savoy cabbage, shredded
- To taste, McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt Grinder
- To taste, McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
- Grated parmesan, for serving
How to cook:
- Step 1
- Prepare soup mix according to on-pack preparation instructions and set aside.
- Step 2
- Heat the oil in a large pot and add onion, carrots, celery and garlic, cooking until onion is tender. Add bacon bone and tomato paste to pot. Cook for a further minute.
- Step 3
- Pour in the stock, water, Italian Soup Mix, parmesan rind and herbs. Bring to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Step 4
- Add tomatoes, zucchini and cabbage. Cook for a further 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Season to taste and accompany with parmesan to serve.
