Ingredients:
- 2 carrots
- 1 stick Celery
- 6 button mushrooms
- 100 g Frozen Corn Kernals
- 200 g frozen peas
- 20 g sesame oil
- 1/2 an Onion, peeled
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 4-6 Rindless Bacon Rashers
- 350 g basmati rice
- 950 g water
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp kecap mqanis, or soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- --- choped BBQ chicken, optional, for a bigger meal
How to cook:

Add mushrooms to bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 3. Put into varoma bowl. Don't wash the bowl.Weigh peas & corn on top of the veg & mushrooms. Put the varoma bowl aside.Put onion & garlic into TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 6. Add bacon to bowl and chop for 2 seconds, speed 5. Scrape down bowl & repeat if necessary. Scrape down the bowl, add the oil and saute for 5 minutes, 100C, speed 1. Add to varoma bowl on top of other vegies. Don't wash the bowl.Put water into TM bowl, insert basket and weigh in rice (no need to wash). Put lid on and put varoma into place. Cook 15 minutes, 100C, speed 4.Meanwhile wet & scrunch a piece of baking paper & lay on varoma tray. Pour eggs onto this. When time is up put cubed chicken in with vegies to warm up and put varoma tray into place and cook for 5 minutes, 100C, speed 4. Cut egg up with spatula and add to a large bowl with thr rice and vegetables. Add the sauces, salt & pepper and combine all together.Enjoy!"}}

A delicious Chinese favourite that can be beautifully adapted to the Thermomix for a hearty family dish full of your favourite proteins and vegetables.

Ingredients:
- 1 onion, halved and quartered
- 1 clove of garlic
- 4 eggs
- 400g coconut milk
- 600g water (800g for Brown Basmati)
- 400g Basmati rice
- 200g cubed protein (eg Bacon, chicken, prawns)
- 2 carrots thinly sliced
- Brocolli florets
- Shredded Cabbage
- Spinach & Bok Choy
- Frozens Peas & Corn
- Baby Corn
- Cashew Nuts
- Soya Sauce
- Sweet Chilli Sauce
- Chilli Flakes
How to cook:
- Add onions and garlic to the Thermomix 4 seconds/speed 5. Scrap bowl and move to Varoma.
- Line the Varoma tray with the baking parchment.
- Add eggs to bowl. Whisk for 5 seconds/speed 3.
- Pour the eggs into Varoma bowl and set aside.
- Rinse bowl and add coconut milk and water.
- Place lid on top of mixing bowl and place basket on top, weigh in the rice.
- Place basket with rice inside the mixing bowl
- Add Varoma basket on top and set to 20 minutes/varoma/speed 4.
- Once the rice is cooking, start chopping and adding your proteins to the basket. Start with the hardest vegetables then layer to the lightest vegetables/nuts. (Note the Varoma takes around 8-9 minutes to warm up)
- Add the tray with egg with 10 minutes remaining.
- If all items are cooked after 20 minutes, lay the varoma lid on your bench and place the varoma vegetables on it.
- Empty the rice into the vegetables and gentle mix.
- Use the Thermomix spatular or a knife to cut the "fried" egg into squares, pour over rice.
- Add condiments to taste.

- Remove garlic skin, then chop garlic with---2sec/6

- Scrap down the chopped garlic & add olive oil to saute---3min/v/

- Set another 2 min/V , slowly pour in the beaten egg from top
- Step 5
- Insert butterfly, add in steamed rice, light sauce, salt & pepper into TM Bowl to continue fry for 5min/V/

- Topping with fried shallot & spring onion, serve hot!
