  • 1-2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt (, or to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

How to cook:
  1. Rinse and thoroughly pat the chicken dry. Set aside.
  2. In small bowl combine salt, pepper, lemon pepper, paprika, dried herbs.
  3. Rub oil over the chicken. Rub herb mixture all over chicken. Spray the air fryer basket or rack with cooking spray.
  4. Lay chicken breast side down in the basket or rack.
  5. Air Fry at 360°F for 45-50 minutes, then carefully flip the chicken to breast side up. Cook for additional 10-15 minutes or until internal breast meat temperature is 165°F. Let rest for 10 minutes. Carve and serve.

  2. Wash and pat the chicken dry. Cover entire chicken with dry rub, and sprinkle with salt if desired.

  1. Take the chicken out of the packaging and pat it dry.

  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1tsp smoked paprika
  • 1tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1tsp garlic granules/salt

How to cook:
  1. Using a brush coat the chicken in the olive oil.
  2. Mix the seasoning together and paste it all over the chicken. Make up some more spice mix if there isn't enough to coat the whole chicken.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down. Cook at 180C for 45 minutes. Check on it once or twice to make sure it is cooking ok and not burning.
  4. At 45 minutes, turn the chicken over so that it is breast side up. Cook for a further 15 minutes.
  5. Check the chicken has cooked through. You can pierce it with a sharp knife to see if the juices run clear - or, my preferred way, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. If it isn't cooked through, return it to the air fryer and cook for some more time, checking on it every so often.
