  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ sweet onion (chopped)
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 sandwich rolls

How to cook:
  1. Brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. When beef is partially cooked through, add the onion, pepper, and garlic to the pan and continue cooking and stirring until meat is fully cooked and vegetables have softened. Drain grease and return to the pan.
  3. Add the ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and whisk well to combine.
  4. Pour the sauce over the ground beef and stir to coat.
