- 3 cups uncooked bowtie pasta
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 6oz package diced Canadian ham, diced
- 1 10oz package frozen peas, cooked
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup French dressing
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
How to cook:
- Cook pasta, then strain. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, red onion, diced ham, and peas.
- In another small bowl, mix the sour cream and French dressing, then season with the salt and pepper.
- Add the dressing to the pasta bowl and stir until everything is coated. Pour in the shredded cheese and mix well. Chill for a few hours before serving.

- 1 cup pitted black olives
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

- 1 pound spaghetti pasta or other long pasta
- 1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 purple onion, chopped
- 1/4 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- 1 can (4 ounce size) sliced black olives
- 2 tablespoons salad seasoning
- 1 bottle (16 ounce size) Catalina dressing
- Parmesan cheese to taste
How to cook:
- Cook the pasta as directed on the package. Rinse in cold water and drain well. Place the pasta in a large bowl.
- Add the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, and salad seasoning and mix well. Stir in the Catalina dressing, coating the pasta in the dressing.
- Cover the bowl and let chill overnight in the refrigerator.
- When ready to serve, stir the salad and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
