- 350g dried tagliatelle
- 280g pack Tesco No Added Water Cooked Ham, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 125ml white wine
- 200ml single cream
- ½ pack chives, snipped
- black pepper, to serve
- grated Parmesan, to serve

- Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the pasta as instructed on the pack. Meanwhile heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium high heat and cook the onion and garlic for 8 – 10 minutes until softened.
- Add the wine to the pan and bubble for a minute, then stir in the cream and bring just to the boil. Stir the ham into the cream sauce and heat for a minute.
- Drain the cooked pasta and add to the sauce with the snipped chives and a good grinding of black pepper. Serve with parmesan to grate over.

- tagliatelle - 7 oz (200 g)
- mushrooms - 6 oz (175 g) champignons
- ham - 7 oz (200 g)
- cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons
How to cook:
- Cook the tagliatelle in boiling, salted water. Rinse them and drain. Wash the mushrooms well and cut them into crescents. Cut the ham into strips.
- Saute the mushrooms in the olive oil until fully softened, then add the ham. Add the cream to these and stir until thickened.
- Finally add in the tagliatelle and stir until the flavors mix well. Serve the pasta hot.

- Chop the mushrooms in halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- Add the olive oil to a frying pan and sauté the mushrooms over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Cover the frying pan with a lid and allow the mushrooms to cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Once the mushrooms are cooked, reduce the heat to low, and add the chopped ham, black pepper and parsley and mix well.
- Cook the spaghetti as per packet instructions in a large saucepan filled with salted boiling water.
- Next, add the cream and spaghetti to the frying pan with the ham and mushrooms and saute for a couple of minutes, until you reach the desired consistency.
- ALTERNATIVE: Should you not have or like cream, warm some milk in the microwave and mix it with some cream cheese; mix these two together until a smooth cream is achieved.
- Enjoy on its own or with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese or Pecorino cheese on top.
