This is a wonderful honey bbq sauce that we brush on pork spare ribs the last 15 minutes of cooking. It is a copycat recipe for the Tony Roma's restaurant sauce. Makes enough for 4 pounds of ribs. I was given this recipe by a friend was contacted by topsecretrecipes.com that it is their recipe.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over high heat.
- Blend with a whisk until smooth.
- When the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered.
- In 30-45 minutes when the mixture thickens, remove from heat.
- If it becomes to thick you can thin it with more vinegar.

- Calories: 708 cal
- Combine all ingredients except the ribs.
- Heat over high heat until boiling.
- Reduce heat, simmer 30-40 minutes until thick.
- Coat 4 pounds of baby back pork ribs, front and back, with BBQ sauce.
- Wrap ribs in aluminum foil.
- Bake at 300F for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. (I usually go 2 1/2 hours).
- Remove ribs from foil and smother with more sauce.

- Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 45 minutes.
- Set oven to 400 degrees F.
- Season chicken liberally with salt and pepper.
- Cook chicken for 35-40 minutes.
- Coat with BBQ sauce, then put under broiler for a few minutes.
- Put the pan on the top rack under the broiler.
- With the oven door open, watch the sauce as it begins to bubble and caramelize.
- When it is browned, take out.
- Serve with onion loaf, cole slaw, and lots of extra BBQ sauce!

- Combine the 7 rub ingredients in a bowl and mix well. The night before
- ribs are to be served, coat both sides well and place ribs in a zip
- lock bag in refrigerator.
- Remove ribs at least 7 hours before they are to be served and once
- again, coat well with seasoning.
- Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Place ribs fat side up in a shallow foil lined
- baking pan and bake for 5 hours.
- After 5 hours, spread BBQ sauce on both sides and continue to bake.
- Add additional sauce after anoher 30 minutes.
- Ribs should be tender at 6 hours.
