The Long gone Smiles Band have been awarded the Swedish Awards in Pure Country Music in 2007, 2012 and 2014. The Long gone Smilas Band is a six artist group, with harmony singing and playing on traditional instruments in the style of the Golden Era of Country Music 1927-1957. The band is devoted to honor and spread the wonderful music of primarily Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams, and to perform the Long gone Smiles own songs, which are inspired by these great artists/composers.
