Focus for the Global Forum on Humanitarian Medicine in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery is to provide a unique opportunity for all key players in Humanitarian Medicine (governments, governmental organizations, the United Nations system, the private sector, civil society and NGOs) to get together. The goal is to develop a better understanding of Humanitarian Medicine’s future role in capacity building in underdeveloped countries and regions. The Forum addresses future visions and a dialogue on how best to deliver humanitarian medicine in the future.
