    CCEC serves 44,000-plus meters in Carteret, Craven, Jones and Onslow counties, with an average density of 16.5 meters per mile of line, including roughly 63 miles of transmission line, 1,205 miles of overhead line and 1,216 miles of underground line. The cooperative’s membership is made up primarily of residential and small businesses.
